Trump’s Talk With Putin Included Plans To Join Russia In Cyber Security Unit
Trump tells UK Prime Minister “I had a tremendous meeting yesterday with President Putin.“
For those that actually bought the idea that Trump went into his meeting with his man-crush with a tough agenda, and that he played the Manhattan bully, the same way he is with conservative Republicans, the media, or even his own intelligence community, maybe rethink that.
In a series of early morning tweets on Sunday, President Trump briefly addressed the content of his meeting with Putin.
Putin & I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded..

No, that’s not one of the Trump parody accounts. That’s his actual account.
His answer to Russian interference and the hacking of Democratic National Committee emails is to form a cyber partnership with them.
I’m sure we’re into 52nd dimensional chess, at this point, right?
He didn’t stop there. He flowed from his idea of working with Russia on cybersecurity to immediately slamming the DNC, the media, and Obama.
…and safe. Questions were asked about why the CIA & FBI had to ask the DNC 13 times for their SERVER, and were rejected, still don’t….

…have it. Fake News said 17 intel agencies when actually 4 (had to apologize). Why did Obama do NOTHING when he had info before election?

Because they’re worse than Putin, a man who has journalists and political opponents murdered.
After seeing our president tweet out his willingness to work with a regime that is hostile to our nation, while at the same time showing his trademark disdain for fellow Americans and American institutions, Senator Marco Rubio sent out a series of his own tweets, giving a firm warning against Trusting Putin in the manner Trump suggests.
While reality & pragmatism requires that we engage Vladimir Putin, he will never be a trusted ally or a reliable constructive partner. 1/3

Partnering with Putin on a “Cyber Security Unit” is akin to partnering with Assad on a “Chemical Weapons Unit”. 2/3

We have no quarrel with Russia or the Russian people. Problem is with Putin & his oppression, war crimes & interference in our elections 1/3

And he’s absolutely right.
Trump didn’t go into his meeting with Vladimir Putin to be the tough negotiator.
He went into that meeting as the star-struck fanboy, and he basically offered up our nation’s security on a silver platter, as tribute.
