Two Jews Arrested for Religious Act on Temple Mount
Police arrested 2 Jews, reportedly minors, for performing a religious act on the Temple Mount, against the instructions of the police.
The two reportedly tore “Kriah”, the act of ripping one’s shirt in an act of mourning.
Jewish law requires that one do “Kriah” when a close relative dies, or one sees the area of the destruction of the Jewish Temple for the first time.
