Unbelievable: MSNBC Blames Blizzard On … “Global Warming”
Once again, MSNBC’s “The Cycle” had on scientist mechanical engineer Bill Nye to explain why the blizzard hitting the Northeast coast is actually because of global warming.
Nye was actually on the show for an entirely different reason: to discuss Patriots coach Bill Belichick’s theory that cold weather helped deflate the footballs during last weeks AFC Championship game. But towards the end of the segment, he brought up global warming in connection with the ongoing blizzard.
“Everybody, I want to introduce the idea that this storm is connected to climate change,” he said. “I want to introduce that idea. I know there will be certain viewers who will become almost unglued, throwing things at their television set and so on.”
Nye actually admitted that “proving any one storm is connected, especially cold-weather events is quite difficult.” But scientific accuracy be damned, because Nye “just [wanted] to present that.”
“Bill, I love you for bringing that in,” responded host Toure Neblett, “Thank you so much.”

I cannot believe how many people buy into this obvious myth. I am old enough to remember many blizzards in the North East which were much worse than this one. Anyone else remember the great Blizzard of 1978 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Blizzard_of_1978 & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeastern_United_States_blizzard_of_1978 )? I do and I lived through it.
The world goes through natural climate change. There have been much warmer periods than we witness today, but they happened so long ago, we also have had numerous ice-ages (and some scientists are saying we have been heading into a new ice age for several decades).
Do not believe pop-science for a moment. So long as these so-called ‘scientist’ clowns are providing entertainment to the brainless masses we will be hit with these ‘psuedo-religious’ characters trying to sell us snake oil.
