Peace be with you
God knows best about the differences between Jews and Muslims. He will judge the matters wherein people differ.
My mother's mother was Jewish. That seems to mean more to Jews than to me. I am muslim. The most pain I've ever felt was repenting for adopting Jewish thought processes and habits, even though I've never been formally Jewish.
Glory be to God. Read Al Baqarah with sincerity and ask God if it's not true. Read it alone. If it doesn't reach you I don't know what will, but God may know.
I saw Yousuf Khattab vs. Richard Dawkins online. It only added faith to me. Alhamdulillah! Glory be to God. The interviewer was so faithless he couldn't even hope to see the truth in what he was being told. Who knows if God might guide him.
God will harden the heart of the disbeliever to a point when that disbeliever actually can't see truth any more when it's in front of his eyes. I've come into this forum assuming that has happened to many of you.
Praise be to God, there is a remedy. The muslim position on a stubborn Jew or a blind Jew is not simply blast 'em out of their homes. Actually the Qur'an says you don't need to - the Jew, if he doesn't have much faith, will simply go away anyway so you don't have to.
However, for the debating Jew who can't see the points made by a believer who is inviting him to God, the remedy is not more debate. The remedy I see in the Qur'an is to say: Shaddap! You and your debate! Go and feed the hungry!
Stop waxing and philosophising! Go wash someone's car and thank them that you had the chance to do it. So, shaddap. Forum Shmorum. If you love God, go and show it.
Peace be with you
Please forgive me for my arrogance. I'm still trying to let go of it.
