I have to say the olymics is an issue where I become uncharacteristically liberal, the idea is to leave politics behind and have all nations competing in a friendly manner, and I think it should be kept as such. However any usual displays of Muslim behavior should NOT be tolerated and I would agree muslims should not compete should this occur.

You know, he may have withdrew because if he placed behind the Israeli, he would probably be lynched.  But I do think we should have muslims at the olympics.  I'd like to see events such as the hijab toss or the burka vault.  And maybe such entertaining events such as relay kneeling and spontaneous combustion.

   Though I'm a fan of  some team sports,   I have absolutely no interest in watching the Olympics.    The fact that Iran and other terrorist sponsored countries are allowed to participate in the Olympics makes it easy for me to avoid the Olympics.
