I found this wonderful youtube video which explains some of Rabbi Kooks philosophy. To this day Rabbi Kooks teachings are spread at the Merketz HaRav Yeshiva in Israel. Unfortunately a terrorist killed several Yeshiva students several years ago. The Rabbi was one of the first official Rabbis of the state of Israel...
