I was thinking of what holiday we should ban next so this is what I came up with.

Yacov, no offense but this really is getting a bit ridiculous. We have all said our opinions on celebrating foreign holidays and we won't need to go through holiday by holiday.

May 5th is just a regular work day for me. I voted to ban it on the basis that it's a Mexican holiday and I'm not a lover of Mexican culture.

This one I'm going to have to say no to. Hispanics have a right to celebrate this holiday in America. There are SOME good Hispanics in the country, who contribute meaningful things. But the majority of Hispanics are illegal, so, they have the right to celebrate it back in Mexico.

Good point. Diane Sawyer of ABC interviewed the president of Mexico (some of the interview was shown Sunday and some will be shown on Monday) and his responses were ridiculous, irresponsible, outrageous, etc.

I think we should keep Cinco de Mayo. I love that celebration.

I remember celebrating back in elementary school. A bunch of black kids do-see-do'ing around the May Pole.

It was fun.
