At least 6 Jews wounded in Gush Etzion jihad shooting and car attack
Two critically wounded in two pronged attack at Gush Etzion Junction, involving gunfire and a car attack.
At least six victims were wounded on Thursday afternoon in a shooting attack that took place in the Gush Etzion region on Judea, at Gush Etzion Junction.
Of the victims, two are said to be in critical and serious condition, and several are citizens of the United States. Magen David Adom (MDA) medical teams are providing treatment at the scene.
The terrorist has been neutralized; in addition to shooting it appears the attacker used his car as a weapon as well.
It appears the terrorist began his attack by shooting at Tzomet Gevaot, and then ran over a victim at Alon Shevut Junction.
The attack comes just shortly after a lethal stabbing attack in southern Tel Aviv, where an Arab terrorist from the Hevron region murdered two Jews at prayer and moderately wounded a third.
The terrorist in that attack had received a work permit from the security services, and was employed at a restaurant in Yafo, a suburb to the south of Tel Aviv.
