This week as almost every week there were dozens of terror attacks of varying severity not reported in most major media outlets. We report on these silenced events to present a fuller picture of the reality in Israel and balance the picture presented to innocent readers abroad. We hope that by reporting these incidents we can raise awareness so that actions can be taken to rectify this problem and improve reality in the Jewish State.

This week (Fri. April 15th- Thurs. April 21st) in the ‘Silent Intifada’ updates on Hakol Hayehudi there were over 130 terror attacks that injured 25 Jews.

A 20 year-old Arab from Bethlehem carried out an attack on Bus Route 12 in Talpiyot in Jerusalem. The bus and another bus lit up in flames. Twenty Jews were injured in the attack including one injured seriously, seven injured moderately, and the rest injured lightly. The terrorist carried out the attack using a pre-prepared explosive device and it seems that the device exploded prematurely because there was only one passenger on the bus when the explosion went off. Thank G-d, the attack did not lead to more serious injuries or the loss of many lives. Two Hamas members were arrested in Bethlehem for helping to plan the attack.

Three other Jews were injured as a result of stone throwing in the City of David, Binyamin, and on Route 431 near Ramle. Also, two soldiers were injured from an IED thrown by Arabs in Qalandiya.

Another IED was also thrown at security forces in Abu Dis last Wednesday night. Homemade grenades and firecrackers were shot and thrown by Arabs at Rachel’s Tomb and in Beit El.

On Thursday April 21st, Arabs shot at border police officers near the Qalandiya checkpoint. Thank G-d, no one was injured. On Monday night (April 18th), an Arab attempted to ram into IDF soldiers with his vehicle near the Shukba Junction in Binyamin. Thank G-d no one was injured in that attack either.
