Transgender Activist on Women’s March: Too Many ‘White Cis Women’

From the Urban Dictionary: Cis is short for cis-gendered, meaning someone who identifies with the sex they were born as.

The tricky thing about the left’s determination to create a hierarchy based on the most oppressed is that those oppressed eventually become the oppressors, and with so many victims and victimizers, it becomes a little hard to figure out whom to side with…

Call it a reverse pyramid scheme, which all eventually collapses at some point, so it’s no wonder that so-called “transgender” activists have begun to decry the latest Women’s March as having presented an “oppressive message” by promoting only “white cis women.”

According to the article in Mic, the notorious “P—y Hats” at this year’s march were offensive not because they were vulgar, tasteless, or stupid, but because they enforce the message that “vagina is essential to womanhood.” A civil war is slowly brewing between transgenders and the trans-exclusionary radical feminists (TERF).

“The main reason I decided not to go was because of the p––y hats,” said one transwoman from California. “I get that they’re a response to the ‘grab them by the p—y’ thing, but I think some people fixated on it the wrong way.”

“I believe there’s a lot of inequality that has to do with genitals—that’s not something you can separate from the feminist movement,” she added. “But I feel like I’ve tried to get involved in feminism and there’s always been a blockade there for trans women.”

Mic staff writer Marie Solis put it succinctly when she said that the “saturation of vagina-related messages and imagery set the tone for a march that would focus acutely on genitalia at the expense of the transgender community.”

If the exclusion of transgenders isn’t bad enough, the writer then looks to the not-yet-chic-enough “nonbinary” person, who identifies with neither gender, or changes his or her “gender identity” over time. This “nonbinary” entity also has a girlfriend, who is still biologically male.

“For 20-year-old Sam Forrey, a nonbinary student in Ohio, and their girlfriend Lilian McDaniel, who is trans, there had been other warning signs that the Women’s March might be a dangerous space for them,” the article continues. “Since legally McDaniel’s sex is still male, she worried that if she were to be arrested she would be placed in a men’s jail, a concern she said always lingers at the back of her mind.

“McDaniel said she’d planned on attending the march despite these fears—until she saw that people were using it as an excuse to invoke what she called ‘genital-based’ womanhood.”

McDaniel decried the whole spectacle as a “white cis women march.”

The oppression never ends.
