Closing out 2014 will be easier than closing out the fearmongering that churns the global warming, or, rather, climate change hysteria. But reality continues to show that the “settled science” is anything but settled and is actually closer to a lie agreed upon.

A nifty rundown of how things happened global warmingly in 2014 is found on the Watts Up With That blog. Guest essayist Steve Goreham writes about “another year of futility in the fight against climate change” and contrasts a few weather events with a selection of alarmists’ predictions, warnings and dread.

Maybe our favorite part is where Goreham needles Leonardo DiCaprio. When the crying-out-for-relevance actor hectors everyone within voice shot about fossil fuel use, Goreham writes, the self-important DiCaprio neglects “to mention his frequent flights on carbon-emitting private jets or his ownership of the world’s fifth largest yacht, purchased from a Middle East oil tycoon.”

Yes, of course. DiCaprio is no different than any of the many other left-wingers who want to force others to live as they demand while they themselves live as they see fit. Raging hypocrites, all.
