Israel Foreign minister says Abbas a “Jew-hater who believes and promotes terror” like Arafat, but is better at “hiding his true face.”

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman lashed out at Fatah [Fatah means “Conquest”] Leader Mahmoud Abbas and warned that he was more dangerous than his predecessor, Yasser Arafat, who Israelis considered to be a terrorist.

Liberman’s comments came after Abbas spoke at a memorial marking ten years since Arafat’s death.

“Now that ten years have passed since Arafat’s death, we see that there is no difference between Arafat and Abu Mazen (Abbas),” Liberman said.

“The two of them hate Jews, believe in terror and support terror. The only difference between them, is that Abu Mazen is more dangerous than Arafat. This is because he knows how to  mask his true face,” Liberman said.

In the last few weeks both Liberman and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have blamed incitement by Abbas and Hamas for the rising violence on the Temple Mount and the spate of terror attack against Israelis.
