The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR – the group that’s been labeled a terrorist outfit by the United Arab Emirates – has been conducting live fire training inside some of its mosques with “the intent of helping worshipers defend themselves in case of attack”.

Nezar Hemze, a member of the Islamic Society of Sarasota-Bradenton, has visited several Muslim mosques in Florida to offer and provide the active shooting training, all at the courtesy of CAIR.

“People are just not prepared,” he said, to local 10 News.

His training focuses on developing scenarios for each mosque to deal with, and then showing the proper self-defense techniques, including those involving guns.
