For normal people, this is a time to enjoy the last of summer. But in gang country, it’s time to hang out, shoot and be shot. Don’t expect a fraction of the self-righteousness when a 7-year-old Latino kid get shots by some thug that you would get if cops put down that same thug.
These are the casualties of Obama’s pro-Crime policies.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are stepping up patrols around the city after a spike in violence over Labor Day weekend, including the shooting death of a 7-year-old boy at a birthday party Saturday evening.
At a news conference Sunday morning, CMPD deputy chief Jeff Estes said 10 people have been shot over the weekend so far, including five fatally. He said he couldn’t think of a similar rash of violence in recent memory.
It’s the Ferguson Effect in action. And now on to Obama’s hometown.
Six people were killed and at least 27 have been wounded in shootings across Chicago this Labor Day weekend.
The most recent homicide happened Sunday morning in Englewood.
A woman was shot in the abdomen and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
And over to Baltimore, for the Freddy Gray Memorial Shooting Spree.
And in Buffalo…
The temperature is rising and so, too, is the bloodshed on Buffalo’s streets.
Three people were killed and another critically wounded early Saturday in three shootings. That raised the week’s homicide toll to five.
Two men were killed and three were wounded in three unrelated shootings that occurred in the span of a few hours this weekend in South Los Angeles and Compton, authorities said Sunday.
I blame racist cops. We need to end mass incarceration. Sentencing reform. Because there just aren’t enough criminals on the street.
