Hit and Run Suspect in Murder of 17-Year Old Girl Identified

Sheriff's investigators have identified a man sought for questioning in connection with the Oct. 7 hit and run collision on Del Rosa Avenue that left 17-year-old Highland resident April Maher dead.
Rene Lemus (age not disclosed by authorities) is the registered owner of a pickup found by investigators in Muscoy last week that has front-end damage and evidence on it consistent with a hit and run collision. An anonymous tipster led detectives to the vehicle, according to a sheriff's news release.
April's father, James "Monty" Maher, said the pickup is a dark-colored Toyota, and that investigators are hoping hair samples taken from his daughter's body will match hair taken from the damaged pickup.
Maher is hoping the person responsible for his daughter's death does the right thing and surrenders.
"I'm just curious how soon it will be before somebody in the public comes forward, or for this guy to turn himself in," Maher said.
April was walking with her cousin north on Del Rosa Avenue, north of Base Line, about 10:50 p.m. Oct. 7 when the speeding pickup struck her. The impact shot April about 50 feet forward. She struck the side mirror of a parked pickup before hitting the back of her sister-in-law's parked car, so hard it set off the alarm. She was rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she later died.
Lemus, a Muscoy resident described as 5-foot-7 and weighing 185 pounds, has not come forward since the collision. His vehicle was seized by investigators and processed for physical evidence.

Naturally, this story has been positively buried by the media and police alike. It has been reported on our local news outlets, but none of their websites have put this on the front page of their news pages, and
none have posted a pic of Lemus (one posted a pic of the victim). I had to hunt around for this community blog to find a picture of the killer.
It goes without saying that if a white man were accused of running down an illegal alien at high speed at an extremely well-lit and busy intersection, every "civil-rights" group, church, and politician in the country would be screaming "hate crime" on national television and accusing talk radio of "spreading rage against immigrants." In fact, they did just that for those boys in Pennsylvania who were accused this year of beating a pedophile illegal alien (he was in the close company of an underaged girl, cheating on his fiancee in the process, at a park late at night) to death--talk about guilty until proven innocent. When a "minority" Nazi commits a violent crime against a white or Jew, though, the media and police/DAs alike either (a) pretend the incident never happened, (b) claim it was an accident (as in this case), or (c) swear that the race was not a factor. (Anybody remember the Halloween 2006 mob beating of those three white girls in Long Beach, CA? The underaged schvartze suspects convinced the judge that the victims started the "fight", and all were sentenced to 30 days or less of house arrest.)
Even though the method of killing here represents a common, well-known MO of anti-"gringo" violence by Hispanics (collision using a heavy vehicle), everybody insists that this animal Lemus (may he and his family burn in Gehenom forever) is only guilty of fleeing the scene of an accident. Undoubtedly, he'll get a pro-bono ACLU lawyer who will make such an poor-immigrant sob speech to the Bolshevik jury and judge in his case that he won't be held accountable for even that. (That is, if he's even caught; he's likely in Jalisco right already, being greeted as a hero by his hombres.
)
With one of his own soon to be in the Oval Office, jackals like Lemus and his buddies will be even more empowered to commit their atrocities than they arleady are now.
