Thanks CJD. I don't know a lot about that stuff. I've tried to stay away from alcohol most of the time (not completely, but most of the time, I think it's been at least 2 years since I had anything), because I had an uncle die of alcoholism. When I do drink it's mostly because whatever the drink is tastes good to me. I think Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey have a good flavor to them, and there's this bottle of rum I kept for years called Flor De Cana, that stuff had a really beautiful smell to it and tasted good too. I'll never be an alcohol expert because I'm not going to drink enough to become one. I am glad someone finally explained the appeal of vodka to me though. I never would have guessed!

The only alcohol I drink is Kiddush wine... In my older days {in my 20s} I was known to be a drinker, but as I grew up I lost that taste...

Great!  O0

You know what else is great about Shabbat - zemirot... Baruch kel Elyon  - great song.

only problem is I'm too embarrassed to sing in front of other people, so I sing the zemirot when I'm having lunch alone.  Otherwise I mostly lip-sync.

The little guy is Teymani?

In America, you never really know if the artist himself is behind his own music. Actually always assume otherwise.   Are his producers and songwriters Teymani?

One of my favorite Shabbat Zeimrot...

Kol HaOlam Kulo

Choir :
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Jack Daniels was pretty good.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle Rubystars.

Certainly it's good advice for all people to stay away from too much of any of this stuff.  I don't mean to imply that I *like any of these in more than minimal amounts at one time.

I have heard of that brand of rum ... They have an interesting web site
http://www.flordecana.com/#/section_home
A drink now and then is OK but people should not let it get the best of them and that also goes for smoking...I like the yellow rums best of all....I have some friends that bring me some different brands back right from the islands... Some of the different rums are very good and the price of rum is right... I always look for a new brand when I go into the store now and then...Sadly rum is becoming trendy and the price is going up in progression.

I don't really like the taste of alcohol.  Besides which, I don't react well to it.  I usually end up with a very dry throat, followed by a cold the next day.  But I do like the sweet red Manischevitz kosher wine.
