Obama Quietly Pushes to Increase Number of Syrian Refugees US Takes

Obama-vs-Crazy-RefugeesDespite mounting evidence proving there is no way to properly vet refugees and weed out those with nefarious intentions. Despite the fact that a genocide is taking place, but less than a miniscule fraction of incoming refugees are Christian. Despite a pathological problem among migrants across Europe who burn, loot, rape, assault and otherwise spit on their host countries at will. Despite European cities’ impending collapse. Despite pleas from citizens’ concerned for their safety and well-being. President Obama is quietly pushing for more not less — Syrian refugees to gain entery into the U.S.

Can we truly not say that the president is deliberately thumbing his nose at the American people? The Washington Examiner reports the Obama White House is indeed pushing to up the number of asylum seekers:

President Obama’s assistant for immigration policy told a task force set up by the National Association of Counties that the U.S. is eyeing a bigger role to help alleviate the growing crisis.

“We want to make sure that we can increase our numbers of refugees that are able to settle here,” Felicia Escobar said. “The need globally is so, so, so massive right now, given all the displacement and conflict around the world, but we also know that we have to do it in a way that’s smart.”

Governors across the nation are understandably more than a bit concerned, according to the report:

Sean Conway, a county commissioner from Weld County in Greeley, Colo., said he has had to “fight” with the State Department to get promised services such as healthcare and interpreters. Worse, he added, “Many times we don’t even know that relocation is taking place until it’s going on.”

Law states that only 10,000 refugees are permitted entry per year. Still, when has law stopped this administration from doing what it wants?
