Safe Space: Colleges Offer Coloring Books to Calm Students
We are barely one month into the new semester and universities have already given themselves a full lobotomy to placate the student cult of micro-aggressions.
On top of Cal-State Northridge erecting a full-scale ball pit to appease students offended by the phrase “man up,” universities across the country are new distributing coloring books and crayons to coddle their little snowflakes. This time, however, they claim the gesture is to “de-stress” the students.
Orchestrated by the American University Student Health Center & Wellness Center, the coloring books have been offered as part of “Healthy Campus Week.”
“The time and focus that adult coloring takes helps the individual remove the focus from the negative issues and habits, and focus them in a safe and productive way,” the AU center stated.
According to the College Fix, universities across the country will be participating, among whom are: University of Wyoming, Dartmouth, Northeastern, and others.
The University of Wyoming will offer an “Art Well“ program that will “color your stress away.”
“Coloring pages and colors are provided,” reads the website. “We offer scheduled Art-Well times, but if you can’t make those, come to the Wellness Center Zen Den any time on your own.”
Dartmouth will have a monthly “StressLess Days” over four Wednesday afternoons where the students will be provided with “coloring and craft supplies, games, and even a ‘mini massage.'”
Last year, the use of coloring books in student safe spaces to combat micro-aggressions began at Brown University, which means it took only one year for this lunacy to spread like a self-animating virus.

Millenials need to build a sense of self reliance. This collective effeminacy is extremely disturbing to me, but I can handle it as an individual. I wish other people were stronger and more patient with each other. Cowardice is truely an ignoble quality. Young adults need to challenge themselves to become wiser and bolder.
