Americans’ Cellphones Targeted In Secret U.S. Spy Program
Eric Holder’s Justice Department is scooping up data from thousands of cellphones through fake communications towers deployed on airplanes, a high-tech hunt for criminal suspects that is snagging a large number of innocent Americans, according to people familiar with the operations.
Despite the Patriot Act having been passed with the best intentions and in response to a serious threat, it allows for overreach by our government.
Many people believe they have nothing to hide. So what? But we must remember our fundamental rights in this country. Once their gone we won’t get them back.
