I agree with you, he deserves a second chance.  He seems like a true friend who is just paranoid and is watching out for the Jewish people.  To ban such a person would constitute a crime but we should judge him on his future behavior now that he (should) understand our position in regards to newman and other righteous gentiles on the forum.
